Cornerstone Christian School is a wonderful place where children
can receive a solid foundation, both spiritually and
academically. Our desire is to, "Train up a child in
the way he should go" (Proverbs 22:6). At
Cornerstone we strive to model love for God and love
for one's neighbor (Matthew 22:37-39). Our
elementary school is comprised of grades
Kindergarten 4 through Grade 5. The primary
curriculum taught is ABeka. Our qualified, certified
teachers lead the students each day in prayer and
learning. Elementary students in grades 1-5 memorize
a Biblically based character trait and verse weekly.
The core subjects of Reading, Language Arts, and
Mathematics are taught daily. Social Studies and
Science are introduced in K4 and K5 and taught in
grades 1-5. Spanish is taught from K5 through 5th
grade. Music is taught twice a week for grades 1-5,
and Physical Education is offered daily for grades
1-5.

We are all very excited to move into our new
elementary building, which will be ready in the
summer of 2010 for the 2010-2011 school year! The
new school building will feature larger, updated
classrooms, a library/research center, and a state
of the art computer lab. We are grateful that God
has blessed us with a new school, and we look
forward to being able to accomodate more students. |
